The Castro neighborhood recently welcomed Copas — a new all-day restaurant and bar. It's inspired by California’s seasonal ingredients paired with flavors, ingredients, and techniques from Mexican and Spanish cuisines. “Copas” means glasses/cups, so, they stay true to their name with an abundant supply of coffee and espresso from Proud Mary Coffee and a large selection of curated wines. The restaurant brings an approachable yet elevated offering to each of their dishes. One of their most popular is their pulpo, which combines grilled pieces of Spanish octopus, passion fruit and chile pasilla mix.
