Known for their crunchy but irresistibly chewy bagels, Early to Rise brings the best of the East Coast to Nob Hill. The bakery first began as a pop-up, as they developed a large following they opened a brick and mortar store at Jackson and Taylor Street. One of their most popular items is the classic lox bagel — hand-cut smoked salmon, chive schmear, capers, tomato and red onion. If you need something sweet instead, try their fried-to-order donuts, plain and rolled in sugar or (our favorite) chocolate glaze donut filled with coconut cream and almonds.
